Large scale ASIC-based FingerMouse prototype
In this thesis, two prototypes of a FingerMouse platform using the FingerMouse ASIC have been designed.
The platforms incorporate stereo vision cameras, and an ASIC, developed in the semester thesis FingerMouse 6. These prototypes are able to capture and process stereo images in real-time, with the purpose of extracting a human hand from the taken images (foreground / background segmentation).
A large scale development prototype as well as a miniaturized version have been implemented.
